Design Wall Monday

Can you believe it -
I am all caught up to step 12
with Judy's "Fit for a Hero" quilt along!
I like it!
And even better:
it uses up quite some stash fabrics.
The only thing left to do
is to trim the red rectangles.

Then I got busy trying to catch up
Not as successful,
so I had to enlist the help
of my Red Bear for diversion -
nope, he is not Irish,
he is German ;-)
Current stats:
Step 1 - done
Step 2 - 35 of 100 Chevrons
Step 3 - 7 pinwheel blocks of 25
Step 4 - 25 of 120 Four-patch
Lots of room for improvement -
and luckily we'll have all week
until clue # 5 on Friday!

Merry Christmas,

  1. I'm glad you have electricity! We have power and LOTS of snow. I think we got another 8" yesterday but it is light and fluffy because it is so cold. A beautiful crisp day - you should have a good week getting caught up. Love the QOV!!

  2. I am usually in Michigan at Christmas time, but this year is an exception. I hear there is lots of snow there. I really like your Fit to Be a Hero quilt! Merry Christmas Barb!

  3. Your fit for a hero is looking lovely. I like the way the dark blue looks.

  4. You must be busy, working on two piecing projects at once! I love your "Fit for a Hero" quilt. Your mystery blocks look good - great fabrics!

    Have a wonderful Christmas!

  5. Your Fit for a Hero is so striking. And the "Bonnie Quilt" colors are so much fun!

  6. Love your Fit for a Hero - The colors really are striking!

Thank you for your comment - you made my day!
