A few days ago I started Lawn Chair Quilt
for a friend who is undergoing cancer surgery early January.
While I am not yet completely done,
I still plan on sewing the rows into a completed top today.
The pattern is from the Moda Bake Shop by Happy Zombie
and I used a Westminster Dessert roll called Tea Garden.
Instead of using 16 JR strips per quilt, I used all 24 strips and
tried to gradate the color from the pinks into blues.
Please go and look at the DWM's listed on Judy's blog!
Lots of Orca Bay mystery going on as well -
I hope to catch up during this week.
We'll see.

I like that top - thanks for showing us the pattern!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Will be a comfort to your friend.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, I can see it in Kaffe fabrics. Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteI have this in my 2012 UFO list! I worked on it and then had to remove it from the DW for a more immediate project. I love this pattern and have it mostly done with Amy Butler fabrics. All that white makes it a cheerful quilt I think.
ReplyDeleteLove it, may it bring hugs to your friend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! What a lovely gift!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool quilt pattern!
