Design Wall Monday

There is not too much happening on my design wall.
I added a few arrowhead blocks,
but some are just cut/ in boxes and not sewn yet:

Here are 2 test star blocks,
following Sarah's tutorial.
Aren't they beautiful?

And I am getting my knitting needles ready for Judy's sock knit along:

I really like working with this Kroy yarn -
even though it is nothing special or expensive.
Please hop over to Judy's Patchwork Place
and look at other design walls!
Have a great week,
Barb

  1. Yours is the second design wall I've seen with the arrowhead block! And since I find them really intriguing, I think this means they may be in my design wall future. LOL! The star blocks are very pretty. Thank you for including the tutorial link! :)

  2. My knit-along will be to continue working on the sea lettuce scarf. The arrowhead blocks you've made are quite striking.

  3. Love your projects. I so wish I could knit; just don't understand the books and don't have time yet to take a class. My first issue is that I'm left handed and the instructions are written for right handed folks. I'm determiined in 2011 to learn though.

  5. I love the star. I copied the tutorial because I have been looking for a star block to put on the back of the blue jacket I want to make for this winter. This may just be the thing. Thanks.

  7. I like your colorway for both blocks! Very pretty.

Someday I may take up knitting again but just now I am wallowing in quilting and can't make room for another hobby!

  8. Yay!! You made my favorite star! They look gorgeous. As do your arrowhead blocks. I just finished a pair of fall socks for my mom. I love knitting in the fall and winter months! x

  9. I'm not into knitting one bit, but I love the colors in the yarn where you'll be making socks. The star blocks definitely pass the test!
