Stash Report

It's been a quiet week for sewing - and nothing went out or came in.
The only thing I managed to do is to square up all 5 quilts
and they will get a binding somehow this week!
That's the goal - and hopefully loading another quilt top on the frame.

While looking at other stash report,
Tamera had a link to Alycia
and she is planning a Quilt Along with Rail Fence blocks
starting November 11th.
This may be something I can do.
Right now Judy's QA is just too much and involved for me,
so I had to put it aside. Sigh.

Stash Report Week 39 / 2010:
Fabric used this week: 0 yrds
Fabric used year-to-date: 171.4 yrds
Fabric bought this week: 0 yrds
Fabric bought year-to-date: 124.4 yrds
Net used in 2010: 47 yrds

Please go to Judy's place and look at other Stash Reports!

Last week I went to the Fitness Center on 3 evenings - I guess the routine is slowly settling in. I added 2 longer walks and overall it was a good fitness week.
Hope everything is well on your end,
Barb

  1. I think you did great getting all these quilts quilted and squared up! I bet you have the binding finished in no time at all. 1 binding at a time......just like eating an elephant. :) One bite at a time.

  2. Good for you. Even though no fabric was used (or brought in - YEAH) you got a lot accomplished. I get so excited about piecing a new top that I often let finished (pieced and quilted) sit around for a long time waiting for squaring and binding. I don't really know why because I do like to bind and I love showing off newly completed quilts.

  3. I am so envious of you...getting back into your exercise program. I still haven't started maybe I will get motivated when I get back from SC next week.

  4. Your quilts look so wonderful and they will be even better with the bindings. I didn't start the QA because I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up. The rail fence looks interesting. Good going on your fitness. I did so well in Aug. and then fell off the wagon in Sept. OK, you have inspired me. Tomorrow I will start.
