Stash Report

After having finished the Music Bloom and Fishing Circle tops, I should have been looking and sewing the backings. But it didn't happen.

Instead I came across a free pattern called " Little Bright Star Baby Quilt" and am almost done with the top - it used 2 yards total. I made a pink girly one - and plan on a blue boy one as well. That way I can chose one for my colleague - and the other one goes to charity. Luckily no fabric came in.

Stash Report Week 37 / 2010:
Fabric used this week: 2 yrds
Fabric used year-to-date: 165.9 yrds
Fabric added this week: 0
Fabric added year-to-date: 124.4 yrds
Net used: 41.5 yrds

It's slow going, but hopefully next week I will get some backings done and quilts onto the frame for quilting. That should help my stash report!
Please go to Judy's blog and see other reports here.

And moving on to fitness: it's been a good week - we have a step counting program at work for the next 6 weeks, so that usually gets me motivated. I also managed to get to Lifetime and really hope I get back into my fall / winter routine with 3 + visits per week.
So the total is about 4 hrs of walking and 1 hr fitness.
Yesterday I spent quite some time crocheting - and I think I am getting the hang of it. Just took a class a week ago - and looking forward to a Granny Square class in October. That should get the Airport Security of my back: no pointy knitting needles, just a crochet hook :-)

Hope you all had a good week as well!

  3. The music bloom quilt is wonderful - love the colors. My sister has been able to take knitting needles on planes, but it has been on domestic flights, not overseas. But, it also depends on how grumpy they are that day!

The UM and MSU games were great! Sorry to hear about the MSU coach with the heart issue after the game, but then, that fake field goal would be enough to get one's heart going!!!
