Design wall Monday

I know: it's late for a design wall post, but it still is Monday. Somehow I ran out of MOJO and only a few minutes ago got my act together... Ok, so here we go.
First I had finished another block of the jelly roll sampler quilt along.
As mentioned in my stash report, I was going to cut some more fabric for QFK kits that I could easily use as leaders & enders. I found a 'ship ahoy' kids print and added yellow & red for the 4 patches. Not too bad. I actually had enough material to cut 2 sets!
While going through my fabric I came across the brown football print - and am open to your suggestions which colors you would use for the 4 patch.
Meantime I am still working on 'Simply a bloom', but you have seen the quilt top already too many times.
Please check out other design walls at Judy's Patchwork Times!

Oops, I almost forgot - here is the status of my Spice socks:
Enjoy your week,
Barb

  1. Love, love, love your socks!!!! love them! Great leader/ender project. Not into football at all but maybe a team's colors for the 4 patch??? Whatever you do, a little football fan will love it!

  2. I think a medium blue would look good with it - brown and blue! Nice work!
