A week has flown by
and I missed several link-ups.
So it's time to get back to regular programming ;-)
On my DWM today is of course:
the mystery quilt by Bonnie Hunter.
She has out-done herself yet again,
by offering several quilt sizes and
several ways of cutting & sewing the units.
A big thank you shout-out to Bonnie
and all she does for us!!!
(Yep, the sun is shining here in SE Michigan -
hence the shadows).
My current stas are:
75 orange units and 50 white units,
all done with the Accuquilt die I had on hand:
Nice!
It sure got a workout and will again today.
I love getting reacquainted
with some of my fabrics that were buried for a while
and final see the light of day again!
Also a finish this last week for me:
Modern Christmas Trees
was quilted, bound and gifted
over Thanksgiving.
I used the Random Star EZ boards
and it turned out nice -
much more important:
it was done in time!
You can barely see it,
but I used the magic flange binding
with a small green stripe.
That's it for today,
back to cutting & sewing
on Celtic Solstice.
Linking up to Judy's DWM
Happy sewing,
Barb
Lovely, lovely!! Glad you have the Accu Cutter - it cuts off the dog ears I think to make it easier to sew together. Yours look perfect. The tree quilt is wonderful - the quilting adds so much and the binding is magic!! Love it all.
ReplyDeleteWay to finish! The quilting on it is so fun!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas Tree quilt is adorable and I love, love the star quilting. Really adds pizzazz! Nice job.
ReplyDeleteGood old Accuquilt and so handy having the triangle die the right size for the project - you are one busy lady!
ReplyDeleteYour colours are lovely and bright, look forward to seeing you next post.
