I took a blogging break,
a long break,
but now I am back
with my latest quilt top.
The pattern is in the Gen Q magazine
called "You + Me"
by Heather Jones.
I didn't use solids,
but fabric from stash
It might become a QoV,
not sure yet.
Just needed some brainless strip sewing
with a modern twist.
And here is a picture of the friendship quilt we made.
It was in the making for several weeks
by 4 friends -
for 1 friend.
Each of us made a color block and
letters for their name in the same color.
It turned out beautiful
and we know it is being cherished.
What a great group of friends!
Linking up to Judy's DWM -
go check it out and be inspired!

What a great quilt (red, white, blue) - perfect for the summer and it will make someone very happy!! The Friendship quilt will always be my favorite - so happy to be a part of it. Have you ever done Quilt as you go? Check it out. Glad you are back blogging.
ReplyDeleteLove the YOU & ME quilt -- very modern i think. And i'm VERY fond of the Friendship quilt. Friends are amazing.....! :-)
ReplyDeleteBoth quilts are very pretty. I think that the need to have some mindless sewing is needed every once in a while. Love the patterns in both of them and I think they will be appreciated. Great job!
