Design Wall Monday

I have been working on several different projects and they sure keep me busy.
Orca Bay -
I try to sew a few parts every evening and adding them slwoly to the lay-out.

Hometown Cherries -
I joined the "Made in Cherry Quilt Along" and cut my Hometown FQ's on Sunday and am sewing slowly row by row together. Still deciding which background fabric to choose - please let me kow your pick!
1. Upper left corner: Kona Charcoal
2. Upper right corner: Muslin/ off white
3. Lower left corner: Kona Ash
4. Lower right corner: Babbles
Sorry for the poor picture -
it's been gloomy and my flash isn't quite working.

Friendship Strips UFO -
I am trying to find a nice lay-out and background fabric - this is just a mock-up:

I am linking up to Judy's Patchwork Place
where you'll find a ton of inspiring design walls -
go and have a look!

  1. Your Orca Bay is looking good. That one does take some time to put together, I needed lots of concentration. I love your home town cherries, I may have to check that one out.

  2. Ambitions! Your Orca Bay is coming along. I know it's a LOT of work because I've done it myself but I was SO happy with my results and I know you will be too. Happy Quilting!

  3. Ok it depends on what look you are going for. White is classic, Ash is classic modern, but the Charcoal is bold daring and Awesome! (The bablbes is too 80s washed denim to pick)

  4. Your mystery quilt is looking really nice. It's is a project you have to concentrate on. I'm working away at mine still too. The cherries is cute! I like the top two fabrics because there seems to be more contrast the ash and the print blend into the piecing quite a bit (at least to my poor eyes). Wow, three projects for the week. You've been busy.
