1st Log Cabin quilt top

I just finished quilting one of my very first quilt tops:
a quite colorful (!) Log Cabin quilt.
Since everything was set-up
with my Random Stars easy boards,
that's what I used.
Somehow it has escaped my UFO 2011 list,
so no credit there,
but I am sooo glad it's done.
And yes, it screams for a red binding fabric...
Still debating if I will keep it or donate it.

  1. Lovely quilt! Great fabrics!! Nice quilting!!

  2. Hi Barb,
I represent Eleanor Burns and Quilt in a Day. I love your Cabin, it is just beautiful, so colorful.
I would like to invite you to review one of our books or rulers and post your comments on your blog. If you are interested, please contact me by email at:
    Thanks, Linda Parker

  3. Love the quilt Barb! The colors are so happy and log cabin is one of my favorite quilt pattern. Interesting 2nd comment above...I've always like Eleanor Burns and her patterns.

  4. I love the sparkle of the stars throughout the quilt. It turned out great.

Thank you for your comment - you made my day!
