In preparation of the UFO # 6 I pulled an old baby quilt top, got some backing and tried out the panto "Popcorn". The project had been started before my very 1st stash report and I will give myself credit for fabric used.

I will try to continue with my fitness report this year as well. As a tradition in its 2nd year, I participated in the Belle Isle Fun Run or rather walk for me on NewYears Eve. And I made it to the gym yesterday to end & start a year on an active note.
So, how was your 1st week of 2011?
Enjoy your Sunday,
Barb
Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat start to the new year on stashbusting and the Belle Isle event. Did you go all the way around Belle Isle? I remember sitting in the back seat of the car as we took Sunday drives to Belle Isle. Glad to hear that the isle is coming back to life!
Take care!
Liz
I loved Belle Isle when I lived in Michigan. It was a great place to visit. I would have enjoyed the Belle Isle event. I need to start tracking my walking - maybe it would make me accountable and actually get out there and do it!
ReplyDeleteGood for you Barb! The Belle Isle run/walk must have been fun. Love the baby quilt! Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThe baby quilt is so colorful and pretty. I have the Popcorn panto and love it. Oh to have positive numbers on only the second day of January. Please keep up the fitness reports. They always motivate me. I depend on them. Thanks.
