Design Wall Monday

As a reward for finishing a UFO, I started a new project.
One condition:  use a pattern out of a magazine that I receive.
I hope to do one per month if possible - we'll see how that works.
But for the moment I found a perfect match:
Isn't he cute?
Beary Patch - Quiltmaker Magazine Jan/Feb 2011
Check it out here.
He is still in the "puzzle stage" and
just bits and pieces have been sewn into rows,
but he is coming along nicely - don't you think?
Thanks go out to Judy in Mi
who shared a ton of brown fabric pieces with me!

Today I also quilted this Charity quilt -
I had taken it home from the last guild meet to quilt
and got it done in under 2 hrs, wahooo!
Nothing spectacular, but an allover pantograph.

Well, that's it from my quilting floor.
Go and check other DWM's here.
Enjoy your week,

  1. Nice work! The bear is super cute!

  2. The bear is very cute. The panto is great! Sometimes I think the quilts just pop with the allover patterns on them.

  3. Darling, just darling! What a fun project! :)

Thank you for your comment - you made my day!
