Design Wall Monday

I had set as a goal last week to get the rows of Star Struck sewn -
and I made it! I even got 3 rows connected and
hope to have a 'borderless top' for the next DWM.

And I followed your comment advice and
auditioned a lighter blue for a 1st border - I like it.
Thanks so much for your input!
I know - not the most exciting DWM, but at least I am moving ahead!
And have kept from starting another project...
That's a good thing!

  1. What a great Star Struck. I've got one in green, brown and yellow that I'm working on, but your colors are so much brighter. The red really pops and the lighter blue border is just right. Good luck pushing through to the end. I always get stuck at the border stage too.

  4. I love this quilt! I always think things should go faster than they do. Every little bit gets you closer. Great progress.

  5. I took a class with Bonnie using Star Struck. Mine has been in a UFO box for 2.5 years. Yours makes me want to get it out and finish it: maybe next year it will be my first UFO project. Thanks.

  8. It's a very pretty Star Struck! I think your border is a great choice as well. Congrats on meeting a goal. That's not something I've been very good at lately. Sigh.
