I came across Westminster Rowan (?)/ Kaffe Fassett fat quarters for a buck - at JAF of all places. And I could not resist.
Then Judy from my quilt guild told me about a garage fabric sale in my neighborhood and I found some earth colored fabric for my aunt's surprise quilt.
This photo is for my mom who suggest earth colors: the music fabric was the only one I had in my stash... (and one of these days I will be able to take better pictures)
So that came home with me, too.
But the good news is: I quilted Cowboy Circle and 1 baby quilt; a 2nd one is on the machine waiting for its turn. I cut fabric for a Fishing Circle quilt and finished 2 blocks for the jelly roll quilt along.
There is some power sewing on schedule for today!
Here are my totals:
Stash report week 27 & 28 combined / 2010:
Fabric used this week: 4.5 yrds
Fabric used year-to-date: 131.5yrds
Fabric added this week: 14 yrds
Fabric added year-to-date: 102.15yrds
Net used in 2010: 29.35yrds
Please go and check other stash reports at Judy's Patchwork Times!
Quickly moving to the fitness report: before and after the heat wave I managed to fit in quite some inline skating and a few walks.
Fitness Report week 27 & 28 / 2010:
Visits at Lifetime: 1
Walks: 5
Skates: 5 times
Skate miles: 36 miles (not bad for me even though total for 2 weeks)
Total Cardio: 6.5 hrs
I hope you are enjoying the weekend - I am so glad the temperatures are back in the 80s!
Enjoy,
Barb
Hi Barb - you have a great eye for color. One of the earth-tone fabrics from the garage sale was one I almost bought but couldn't think of where I would use it. It's the 4th fabric from the left in your photo. We have good taste!! Your workout regime is impressive. I walked 3 times this week for 1.5 hours. Yahoo for me!! Hope to see you soon.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great on the stashbusting!
ReplyDeleteI think you should be able to make Judy count the stuff from the yard sale. After all it is her fault. ;0) But really, you are still in the black. I think that counts for something.
