Design Wall Monday

First up is my finish from last week:
my Town Square top is done!
And since I am still having issues with the Farmers Wife Blocks to start the quilt along, I needed (?) another 'in-between' project with easy sewing.
Here is what I came up with:
I took a design roll caleld "Blossoming" and added some Kona White.
Pattern is free from Moda, called "Modern Workshop".
So far I have 11 strips done, ready for pressing and I need 13 more.
My colors are different, but I just love the look of the original:
(this is a photo from my monitor - sorry!)

I guess I will call my version " Modern Blossoms".
That's it from my design wall -
hope you can make it and check Judy's blog for all the other listings!

  1. Barb, your Town Square top is wonderful! I have the biggest grin on my face right now, it just makes me so happy! Nicely done! :)

  2. Very pretty quilts! Farmers wife is next year after the Civil War diary quilt, and after I get a computer that will run eq!!

  3. Your Town Square top is terrific! Love the cheery fabrics!

LOL! I'm starting a new project using a Modern Workshop jelly roll but a different pattern!

  4. Love the modern quilt, so simple, but interesting. And the Town Square is wonderful, love the colors! Congrats on the finish.

  5. Love both quilts, barb! you are a wonder!!

  6. Your new quilt is very cool - love your fabrics as usual. Did you see us on Judy's blog?

Thank you for your comment - you made my day!
