All Sunday long it has been snowing here which means
I got more accomplished than I thought I could!
I finished quilting another baby quilt and just pulled it off the frame.
And I have been sewing blocks of the Star Struck Quilt.
The top 2 rows are done - so there is enough sewing left for the week to come.
Hmm, maybe finishing the blocks of a row per day could work;
with 6 rows left I could be done with the blocks by Saturday...
What is your opinion on putting a small dotty border on Star Struck?
And then maybe using some of the bonus HST for a 2nd border?
I am open for suggestions!
Please hop on over to Judy's blog and
have a look at lots of other beautiful design walls!
Enjoy,
Barb
I like your suggestion, the polka dot border and the pieced border. Love your colors in that quilt.
ReplyDeleteI might audition a lighter blue for that first border. The dark seems a little harsh to me, but I LOVE the pieced border and I agree there needs to be a separation between it and the main part of the quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like that star quilt -- maybe just a little thinner strip for the polkadot border.
ReplyDeleteI love the pieced border on it. What a fun quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove what you're doing with star struck!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tamera about a lighter border. I love the pieced border using the bonus triangles!
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the girls. Not too sure about the dark polka dot border. But I am absolutely loving the quilt. Very beautiful!
