So not much new going on here and I am eyeing a new project. You can't "just" have one project going on at one time; I need to be able to switch when I am getting bored.
Currently I am thinking of "Gumballs" by Deb Luttrellas in McCalls Quilting magazine from April 2008, but am not quite sure yet. I guess it means I need to dig in my fabric stash and check for the best color way possible - to find 6 yards of assorted green or red or any other color, best in batiks.
Or I could finally get Sue's "Gypsy Rose layer cake" going: just love Moda Bakeshop's "Simply a Bloom" pattern from Bloom. I won the layer cake a while back and the win inspired me to start this blog. Ever since then I could not decide which pattern to use for Gypsy Rose.
You will see what I end up doing in the next postings or latest next Monday's design wall. In the meantime go to Judy's to see what other people are working on.
Have a great week,Barb
On a different note there is another avoidable task is looming: all my labels on the blog have been done not quite right... I put a ";" between different labels and not a "," so the whole system doesn't work. Now comes the tedious task of exchanging them all, urgggh. I probably will have to do it in small sessions before I go crazy. Yep, the pains of a newbie blogger.
I like that you did not use Christmas colors (at least my my coputer screen.) It's great to see it in another colorway.
ReplyDeleteLove your colour choices for the mystery blocks! I think you're the only one I've seen with the blue and brown and it is awesome!
ReplyDeletehave fun picking out another project to work on, sorry about your blogging label troubles. As Rosannadana used to say, "It's always something..."
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you chose for your Carolina Christmas.
