Tadaaa:
check out my Grand Illusion top -
4x5 block setting without borders.
Yes, it is wild - and I love it!
Thanks to Bonnie
for this fabulous mystery!!!
And now all the bits and pieces of fabric
are gone from my living room floor - nice!
Not sure if I will add the border or not.
Haven't sewn a single border unit yet
and my time may be limited here
with lots of traveling coming up.
Will be linking up to
on Monday morning.
Barb
It is stunning! Have safe travels.
ReplyDeleteOMG. I LOVE it! It makes even more anxious to get back to working on mine.
ReplyDeleteHow GRAND!! I love it and I am impressed on how much you accomplished in such a short time on the machine!!! Good job Barb!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I am so anxious to sew mine together!
ReplyDeleteOoh, it's gorgeous! I love all the sparkly, shimmery colors! Congratulations on a beautiful finish!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this- the movement in the blocks draws your eye across the surface of the quilt. And for a scrappy quilt, your colors are beautifully consistent- I think that just adds to overall punch!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :) Hugs, Jo.
Barb - Great work and I am back to it after seeing yours!
ReplyDeleteYours turned out great. Lots of fun colors. Enjoy your travels.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! If you decide to add the borders, make the pieced border before cutting the inner border. It's easier to adjust the width of the inner border to make things fit together than to fuss with the pieced border.
